Samsung’s product strategy executive Hankil Yoon confessed that their range of Galaxy Tab devices aren’t doing that well. The statement came at a media roundtable at Mobile World Congress where Yoon blurted out the following.
Honestly, we’re not doing very well in the tablet market.
However, to combat the dismal sales, he revealed Samsung is banking on the Galaxy Note series, which consists of a 5.3-inch Galaxy Note “phablet” and Galaxy Note 10.1 that was announced today. The Galaxy Note series brings the S-Pen functionality that according to Yoon, helps Samsung to differentiate its offerings from the others.
